Technical Manager

What You Will Do

Manage and provide technical and business direction for a team of Client WAN engineers responsible for delivering infrastructure solutions.

The network engineers are responsible for network design and implementations. The engineers are responsible for changes to network switches, router.

• This position will have a high degree of collaboration with other engineering and operations managers to ensure on time project delivery and helping provide the right level of agility within a defined delivery process.
• Will be forward thinking, will be self-motivated, and will be able to work effectively in a diverse, highly talented team, continuously striving for excellence.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required

• 7+ years of experience in network management
• Strong Experience in Client WAN technologies (Cisco, Versa, SDWAN) is a must
• Strong experience in network design is a must.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team supervision
• This role involves evaluating the current network for enhancement opportunities, supervising hardware and software installations, and facilitating staff training for seamless technology transitions
• Able to assist with technical issues or advise on control requirements as required.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement

Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on actual job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
• Must be able to work on-site (corporate / client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
