Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Title : Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Millwright

Responsibilities :

Installation & Assembly :

• Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment according to specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Maintenance & Repair :

• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and failures.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.

Inspection & Testing :

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify wear and tear or potential issues.
• Test machinery after repairs or installations to ensure proper functionality.

Documentation & Reporting :

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Prepare reports on machinery status and maintenance issues.

Safety & Compliance :

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all machinery and equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
• Comply with industry regulations and standards.

Problem-Solving :

• Analyze mechanical problems and develop effective solutions.
• Adjust and calibrate machinery to maintain optimal performance.

Skills and Qualification :

Technical Expertise :

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Mechanical Skills :

• Experience with various hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and alignments.

Diagnostic Skills :

• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement solutions quickly.
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and techniques.
