Lingo Staffing is hiring an Inventory Specialist in Trumbull, CT
Hours : M-F 7am-3 : 30pm
Payrate : $18 / hour
Description :
- Manage all aspects of inventory and tools, including stocking, tracking, and accounting for items in the warehouse.
- Compile and maintain records of inventory, including conducting cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits.
- Coordinate inventory requirements with the General Manager, vendors, and customers to ensure efficient procurement and distribution.
- Oversee safety compliance in the warehouse, ensuring proper equipment and badges for all staff and visitors.
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, warehousing, or distribution with demonstrated knowledge of inventory management and quality control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools, with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push / pull up to 75 lbs, and operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
