Your Role :
As a Business Development Manager, you will essentially be the glue ensuring all teams stay aligned and helping keep the growth process moving smoothly.
Your role will be working in very close partnerships with all departments and disciplines at McCann New York, responsible for supporting all pitch and growth operations across the agency.
You will help drive our team forward and scale our business by leveraging your business and organizational acumen, cultural insights, and passion for creativity that moves business.
You will be a key member of the team responsible for client and agency growth.
What You’ll Do
Drive and support new business operations across all prospective and active client opportunities, ensuring the pitch team is supported and we are moving forward with executional excellence.
Core to operationalizing any new business and PR activities that are created in order to support goals and targets.
Develop and coordinate new business timelines, team roles / responsibilities and deliverables.
Manage the production process associated with all RFIs and RFPs.
Maintain the highest quality pitch standards in concert with the Head of New Business and Chief Growth Officer.
Assist New Business leadership in the development of revenue growth strategy.
Manage the delivery of RFIs, RFPs, pitch presentations and all pitch collateral, with a keen eye for detail.
Seamless pitch project management covering all aspects from kick off to close, building and governing workstreams to ensure all deadlines are met and work is of the highest possible standard.
Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and moves in an effort to share information and capitalize on potential opportunities.
Act as the liaison and main point of contact between various departments in the agency, inclusive of Production, Strategy and Creative.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising or communications industries
Proven ability to lead team efforts
Must have client-facing experience
Experience working within a New Business agency pitch environment is a plus
A clear and strong communicator who is able to build trust and confidence among clients and colleagues alike.
Strong business sense with a keen growth mindset.
Experience and comfort in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change

Salary Range
- The salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current / former employees in the subject position;
- the associated discipline market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees);
as well as the employee’s / applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Location
McCann New York team members must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York Tristate area unless otherwise agreed upon by their manager and McCann New York’s Human Resources team.
McCann New York is a hybrid workplace with three days in office a week.
