People Relations & Operations (PROps) on our PeopleX (PX) team is the engine that fuels a world class Hoodie experience. We get it done.

We create a caring, consistent, personalized, and high-quality employee experience, enabling Hoodies to be engaged and productive.

We do this by developing, deploying, and driving agile and scalable solutions with a radical focus on continuous improvement.

We deliver through an integrated deployment of Onboarding, HR Shared Services, Transformation, Employee Relations, and Compliance.

As our Employee Relations Business Partner, you'll provide guidance, support, and recommendations for the resolution of employee relations activities, including performance improvement, conflict resolution, policy interpretation and consistency, investigations and compliance, and sensitive employment decisions.

What you'll do

  • Advise on company policy and employment law requirements : Using your subject matter expertise, you will make recommendations that align with Robinhood's culture and values to help resolve complex and unique employment-related issues across the organization
  • Partner with Functional Managers, HR Business Partners, and Employment Counsel : You'll mitigate risk through best practice strategies, and by providing coaching and feedback, to ensure a positive and effective employee experience.

You will serve as a sounding board for difficult interactions and business situations, and enable your HRBP colleagues to more effectively manage employee relations

  • Investigate highly sensitive employee relations issues : You'll conduct interviews with employees that have filed a complaint, as well as interview those who may be considered witnesses, and make objective recommendations based on your findings
  • Use data to identify employee relations trends
  • Develop a training suite that will provide training and development for employees and managers on how to navigate complex employee matters

What you bring

  • 5+ years of Employee Relations or HR business partner experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HR practices, including understanding of State and Federal employment laws, as well as knowledge of ER practices such as performance management, corrective action, management concerns, and disputes
  • Ability to influence and impact multiple levels within an organization to drive well-rounded employee relations strategies
  • A deep sense of understanding for the needs of diverse groups of people
  • Ability to interpret and use people-data to story tell, and translate it into actionable strategy
  • A passion for advocating for others and speaking up even when it's difficult, and for seeing others grow through coaching, mentoring, and career development
  • Expertise in building relationships with leaders at all levels

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.

The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.

This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood's equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

$145,000-$170,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$128,000-$150,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL)

$113,000-$133,000 USD
