About the Role
As a Commercial Insurance Marketer for a large independent insurance broker in Colorado, you are responsible for coordinating placement activity for new and existing clients.
You consult with and support client service and sales teams on critical account renewals and key new business initiatives, focusing on carrier relationships and client engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities
As an experienced commercial insurance professional, you will :
Build insurance programs, reviewing current insurance programs- deductibles, losses, exposures, etc. Then, create a marketing strategy based on your analysis and go to market handling underwriting negotiations.
Evaluate claims data, pricing trends, and coverage enhancements to compose the best possible, most comprehensive insurance program for clients.
Provide market insight to internal sales and service teams with creative ideas to access competitive markets and structure programs for larger commercial accounts with complex risk portfolios.
Strengthen relationships with underwriters and insurance company representatives. Possess a working knowledge of the underwriting appetites for key partners, both standard and E&S carriers.
Skills & Experience
- At least five (5) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience with at least 2-3 years focused in marketing and placement activities
- Requires a well-rounded commercial property and casualty background with full knowledge of regional insurance markets, lines of business trends, and coverage development
