Product Manager / Business Professional Intro
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager / Business Professional to join our team on a 9-month contract.
This role requires a blend of strong IT-related product and project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed or corporate environment.
The position is primarily on-site at our Westlake campus from Monday to Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
Product Manager / Business Professional Job Details
- Work closely with the Director of Data Consumptions Enablement and DASIP Ecosystem workstream lead.
- Develop and manage plans to achieve the stated deliverables of the wider program.
- Collaborate across the DCE, SDA, and technical teams to manage the plan, identify risks, issues, and recommend actions.
- Facilitate working sessions, capture and synthesize Current State Assessments, draft content for Requirements and Design deliverables, socialize findings / designs, and gain agreements.
- Work with various subject matter experts to capture content and make it available in easily digestible formats.
- Ensure that content is easily findable for users and maintainable for product managers.
- Collaborate with other workstream teams to align plans and gain agreements on intersections with other capabilities.
Product Manager / Business Professional Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in IT-related product and project management.
- Experience in use case, user story, requirements, and compliance matrices.
- Proven track record of delivery and ability to create, socialize, and manage a plan focused on outcomes and deliverables.
- Experience facilitating and managing content capture, design, socialization, and review sessions.
- Solid ability to synthesize content, such as key findings from an analysis, summarizing feedback sessions, and presenting important information.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and web-based collaborative platforms like Teams and SharePoint.
Product Manager / Business Professional Desired Skills
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Ideally, some experience in data, reporting, and business intelligence tools, particularly in the data and analytics field.
