Digital Content Writer, Brand Channels - US Remote

This role is responsible for writing content intended forthe digital brand channels managed by Siemens Digital Industries Software.

Aspart of the Brand Channels team within Brand and Communications, this role willsupport channels ranging from our online newsroom to key website properties toour global brand social channels with written content creation and execution,in alignment and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, andensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

The person filling this roleshould be comfortable with crafting longer-form copy ranging from news releasesand media alerts to shorter-form social media and web copy.

The ideal candidateis a strategic thinker with experience working on digital content for a rangeof channels (including web and social).

This is a remote role for candidates located in the Easternor Central U.S. time zones)

Essential Functions :

As part of the Brand Channels team and incoordination with other Brand & Communications teams, draft, edit andpublish clear, engaging and compelling copy intended for publication on digitalchannels.

Channels include online Newsroom, online press distributions, ourmajor social accounts (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and YouTube)and our web properties.

• Coordinate and collaborate with team experts oncopy creation and execution strategies to achieve best results and meetdeadlines.
• Use digital office and publishing / creation toolsappropriately (Teams, Sprinklr, Contentful, Monday.com and others) to manageand execute requests and communicate
• Proactively address issues as they arise

Skills and Abilities Required :

• Experience creating engaging, concise andaccurate English-language copy for company brand channels (web, social, newsreleases)
• Strong written and verbal skills, interpersonaland communication skills - English language fluency is a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to workwell and respectfully with others in a diverse global environment
• Strong ability to research information and learnquickly
• Proactive with communications andrecommendations
• Ability to problem solve effectively andefficiently, and to ask for help when needed
• Ability to collaborate with internal andexternal cross-functional groups
• Ability to effectively navigate a global teamwithin a large enterprise
• Strong time management skills
• High attention to detail

Education and Experience Requirement :

• 5+ years of professional experience writing copyfor various digital platforms, ideally in B2B environment
• Ability to effectively navigate and leverage alarge and complex organizational structure to maximize efficiency
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Officeincluding collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
• Strong working knowledge of digital copy andcontent creation, management and publishing tools (Sprinklr or similar socialpublishing and measurement platforms, CMS platforms such as Contentful,WordPress, News publication tools such as Cision / PR Newswire), newsletter tools
• Graphic design tool knowledge (Adobe CreativeCloud, Canva) is highly desirable but not required
• Professional writing sample required

The hourly range for this position is $38.99 to $70.19 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education / training.
