Job Title America's Regional Planning Manager Job Description This position requires a high level of skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to schedule management problems including knowledge of project development activities, project execution, risk management, construction management, and operating plant interfaces.
- Works under the direction of the Regional Director of Project Controls.
- Provides functional support of all project planning activities in MDR
- Responsible for the direction, organization, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the project planning function in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Facilitating the definition of the project schedule, its man hours, its key milestones, its cost and values, its schedule goals and deliverables
- Drive improvement in planning and forecasting accuracy through process and system changes
- Able to assist in forensic planning related to commercial and contractual issues
- Knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis
- Work with bid managers to ensure bid execution plans and strategies are correctly modeled in planning packages.
- Preparing EPCIC bid planning packages including assessment and integration of different phase inputs
- Provides input to major project execution plans and control budgets.
- Conducts periodic reviews of the forecast of major projects.
- Provides functional oversight of project and management reporting as deemed appropriate or required.
- Provides oversight of execution strategy's changes on key projects.
- Providing direction and support to the project team
- Ensures that Project Planning deliverables are satisfied in a manner that aligns with the established guidelines, policies and procedures with regular audits to ensure compliance.
- Ensures Project Planning Systems are implemented.
- Ensuring compliance with company objectives to uphold the corporate policies and procedures for health, safety, security, the environment and quality Travel Up to 25% Job Type Regular Date Required Job Requirements Education :
- 4 year degree in Engineering / Construction / Business or related field, or equivalent combinations of technical training or experience. Experience :
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project planning
- Supervisory experience in a matrix environment and progressive field experience working for a contractor. Qualifications :
- A solid background in the oil & gas industry is required.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company personnel; must be a good organizer and communicator
- Lump sum turnkey offshore fabrication and subsea installation project experience
