Objective / Purpose / Summary:

It is the responsibility of the Bartender to assist in creating drinks and supporting the bar operation.

Qualifications: Education / Certifications / Work/Industry Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Associates or 4-year degree in Hospitality desired.
  • 3 years prior F&B experience, required.
  • 2 years Bartending experience, required.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs) & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of POS software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to beverage related questions from groups of managers, Team members, customers, and the public.

Qualifications
Essential Duties / Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Primary duties, responsibilities, and tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Service the daily operation of the Bar in liaison with the management team/GM.
    Responsible for ensuring that all Beverage operations are in compliance with all systems, control policies, recipes and procedures.
  • Estimates beverage consumption and purchases or requisitions beverage ingredients and supplies.
  • To monitor and critique the quality and consistency of the Beverage product.
  • Bring innovation and creative ideas to create specialty cocktails for our menu.
  • Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints and brings them to the attention of Management.
  • Reviews comments or guest feedback, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement.
  • Attend and ensure that daily pre-shift meetings conducted with all Team Members daily for all shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and health code standards.
  • Complete or assist beverage inventory as needed.
  • Schedule staff to reflect daily occupancy and reservations in order to Monitor and control payroll and other expenses.
  • Rotates bartender shift duties as needed to create a fair workspace.
  • Supports in closing out the shift effectively and efficiently.
