Senior Leasing Consultant
The Senior Leasing Consultant is responsible for handling all aspects of the screening and application process in accordance with Company and Fair Housing guidelines.
Responsible for assuring the Company's standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered.
This position will be split between Elevate at NULU & Lofts of Broadway*
Essential Job Functions :
- Responsible for working with appropriate leadership to ensure the marketing, administrative, and financial operation of the property meets company standards.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of all aspects of leasing units and required leasing documents in accordance with Company and Fair Housing guidelines;
includes thorough knowledge of pricing and confirming that the pricing is correctly updated on the BH company website.
- Prepares all new leases and required documents, processes lease application paperwork for the approval.
- Understands and qualifies all prospective residents via Rent Cafe and maintains all resident leasing files.
- Manage communication with all new applicants and associated leasing consultants regarding the status of their screening results and file approval process;
- Ensures all prospect information and alert notifications are accurately entered into CRM and addressed in a timely manner;
Assists in countersigning applicant and future resident documents.
- Inspects all pre-leased apartments prior to resident's scheduled move in date; Reviews daily exceptions report to ensure all move-in exceptions are cleared each day and move in dates are adjusted as needed.
- Oversees the shopping of competitive properties to stay abreast of industry trends; understands, utilizes and promotes all third party online leasing programs in an appropriate manner.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills :
- Must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe mandated where additional licensing is required by law.
- 2 years of prior leasing experience
- Excellent organizational communication, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated basic computer technology skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor and a positive, motivating and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast- paced environment, and to work with a diverse group of people and customers
Desired Qualifications / Skills :
- Yardi Voyager experience
- YieldStar or other Revenue Management Program experience
Work Schedule : Will normally work a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating weekends; (hours may vary to meet the business needs of the property)

This position requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
