• Pay Rate : Rate may vary due to local or non-local contracted rates : $55-61 combined Rate of pay. ( Pay packages are a combination of taxable hourly rates, tax free allowances for travel, housing, and meal allowances)
• Additional bonuses are available.

RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLGIST / RAD TECH

Take a patient's medical history, explain the procedure, and position the patient and equipment to take the image

Use computerized and manual equipment to take images, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, fluoroscopy, or sonography

Review the images to ensure they are clear enough for a doctor to diagnose

Record patient medical histories, enter patient data into computers, and maintain patient records

Explain procedures and test results to patients, and inform doctors of patient conditions

Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff, and follow infection control policies

Help with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and restocking supplies
