Job Description

The Global Key Account Manager will be responsible for :

  • Commercial development of Key Pharmaceutical Accounts globally including accountability for continuous achievement of sales and profit growth targets and execution of Key Pharmaceutical Accounts goals, plans and strategies.
  • Drive commercial excellence execution including a strong focus on pro-active sell price and margin management, opportunity pipeline development and management with high closure rates, proactive customer retention, and new business development selling product portfolio, services and capabilities to all Key Pharmaceutical Accounts.
  • Actively participate in sales calls and presentations with existing and prospective Key Pharmaceutical Accounts to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and align solutions with their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth, long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers, and identify and drive closure of new opportunities to achieve growth targets.
  • Responsible for providing regular communication, direction and guidance throughout the organization in regards to Key Pharmaceutical Accounts.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Strategic Account Business Development Plans in alignment with growth targets.

The Successful Applicant

Global Key Account Manager profile :

  • Proven experience as Key Account Manager managing Pharmaceutical clients
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience selling to C-Suite and in a senior-level commercial role.
  • Prior experience managing national or multinational Pharmaceutical Accounts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
