RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform Transmission diagnostics and work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership guidelines
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have experience as an auto transmission technician
- Ford experience preferred but not required
- Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Are a fast learner
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Are a team player
- Are computer literate
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Have a valid driver’s license
