Job Description

McLane Global is looking for a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support our companys warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities.

Role Responsibilities

The Forklift Operator drives a forklift to safely move pallets, stock, or other materials to and from storage and finished goods areas.

Operate forklift to transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, and within other areas of assignment. Load, transport, unload, and stack materials in accordance with established procedures.

Maintain up-to-date forklift certification, communicate non-compliance and / or quality problems to supervisor and / or shift lead.

Check verifies and fill customer invoices. Clean and maintain housekeeping of finished goods storage area. Ability to accurately select and load material properly to meet customer and production requirements.

Ability to communicate effectively, read and understand material tags and work orders, able to pick and pack material in accordance with company standards.

Knowledge of and ability to comply with safety rules and requirements. ability to comply with forklift training. Ability to routinely bend and squat, walk, stand for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to regularly lift and / or move frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations. Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.

Keep warehouse clean and organized daily. All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Minimum experience of 1 year

Proven warehouse experience

Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

Team player with organizational skills

Ability to lift or move heavy products.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Dynamics AX, Excel, and Word

Able to read, write and speak both English fluently Other
