Position Summary :
The Production departments create personalized gifts for our customers. Print Room Associates are key team members that prepare and provide the art work for our Production / Manufacturing departments.
Print Room Associates may operate machinery, including Mutoh and Reggiani printers, and adhere to all PMall safety guidelines and standards.
1st Shift : 5 : 00 AM-1 : 30 PM
Pay Rate : $ hourly
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Sends files..
- Organizes workload.
- Print transfers.
- Perform general maintenance on print related machines.
- Maintain assigned area in the Print Room.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible with shift during our peak periods.
- Attentive, self-motivated, helpful, and willing to work under pressure when volume increases.
- Ability to work on desktop computes and willing to learn knew software programs.
Key Qualifications :
- Technical Expertise : Proficiency in operating and maintaining digital printers.Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and file preparation for printing.
- Material Understanding :
Familiarity with various fabrics and substrates commonly used in digital textile printing.Understanding of ink types (, water-based, pigment, dye-sublimation) and their compatibility with different materials.
Quality Control :
Ability to ensure consistent print quality, color accuracy, and resolution.Troubleshooting skills to address issues like banding, color shifts, and nozzle clogs.
Workflow Management :
Experience with production scheduling, job prioritization, and meeting deadlines.Knowledge of pre-press processes, including file preparation and color separations.
- Safety and Compliance : Adherence to safety protocols when handling inks, chemicals, and machinery.Compliance with environmental regulations related to printing processes.
