Job Summary Are you ready to take the next big step in your automotive industry career? Our high-volume automotive repair and maintenance shop is seeking a full-time Automotive General Manager to oversee and motivate our talented team of professionals.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions with at least three years of experience, and a strong desire to succeed with integrity.

You will oversee daily operations and assist sales and service managers in setting big but realistic goals.   • Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
  • Train service managers to meet profit levels
  • Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales
  • Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent needed
  • Three or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for an Auto Repair facility is necessary
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
  • Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate customer-owned vehicles
  • Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success

Compensation : $60, per year
