Our Client is seeking an Assembler in Oakland Park, FL.
Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work a 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM with potential for overtime hours on Friday's.
Job Description :
- Study specific instructions, blueprint specifications, and materials, gather parts, sub-assemblies and use of tools
- Assembles small components by examining connections for correct fit
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, work orders, bills of materials, work instructions and other documents to accurately assemble products
- Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points, according to jig board layout, using soldering gun and hand tools
- Maintain supply inventory
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- At least 1 to 2 years of assembly experience
- Medical device or small parts manufacturing industry preferred
- Proficient with hand tools and performing basic small parts assembly
- Ability to work at a workbench and be on and off your feet for most of the workday
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Organized and neat with great attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions as well as blueprints
