We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Machinist in North Charleston South Carolina! Job Duties entail but are not limited to : Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instrumentsRead and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints and follow instructionsMachine parts out of metalProperly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machinesRecognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and toolingMust be able to determine the proper tools required to perform given taskOperate and utilizes lifting aids as necessary to perform workUse gauges and precision measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirementsPerform daily, regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipmentPerform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner while maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWork overtime as needed on evenings and / or weekendsCommunicates with others to coordinate work in plantOther duties as assignedQualifications : High school diploma or GED1 to 3 years of related experience is preferred.

Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful mannerAbility to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to read precision measuring toolsAbility to perform basic mathematical computationsAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsBasic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and TeamsSchedule : Monday Saturday 7am-3 : 30pmPay : $22-$35 / hour based on experience. #ISS
