DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Identifies tooling for Competitive Advantage customers as part of the program kick-off Strike Team and provide all necessary descriptive information to establish new MSC part numbers to support Competitive Advantage program.
• Maintains ?single point? process to integrate catalog items, non-catalog items, special items in support of developing item plans for CAPWare crib and CAP System databases.
• Works with suppliers to provide item quotations to gather and archive descriptive information required for on non-catalog and special items.
• Matches MSC part numbers to customer tooling needs.
• Formats tooling descriptions to MSC description template standards.
• Assists in building multiple part number requests and CAP System and CAPWare Crib item plans.
• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC?s mission.
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years Industry experience required.
• Strong knowledge of metal-cutting tooling required.

SKILLS :

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other applicable computer systems and assigned software required.
• Knowledge of the industry and the diverse product offering and manufacturers required.
• Excellent time management skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving skills are required.
• Must be able to work cross functionally among multiple departments (Sales / Operational)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (?ITAR?) and / or Controlled Unclassified Information (?CUI?).

Compensation starting at $39,760 - $62,480 depending on experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities.

Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
