We are currently seeking a Network Engineer for our client in the Retail domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth.

This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration : 9+ Months Contract

Location : Hybrid-Irving, TX & Enon, OH

Salary : $55.00-$60.00 / Hourly (Negotiable-Can be discussed over the phone)

Role : Network Engineer

Primary Skills : Infrastructure

Role Description : The Network Engineer must have 6+ years of experience.

Responsibilities :

• Deploy and maintain data networks, including local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) elements.
• Responsible for installation / configuration / maintenance of medium sized data center and large retail network.
• Responsible for the configuration and management of Juniper / Cisco LAN switches, SolarWinds Network Management servers.
• Develop policies and procedures as they relate to data and voice technologies, ensures compliance with enterprise policies, procedures, standards, and goals.

Must Have Specific Knowledge and Skills :

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Active listening and analysis to identify issues or problems.
• Research and creativity to identify a solution to the issue or problem.
• Ability to communicate resolutions in a simple, easy to understand manner.
• Communication skills : Verbal and written via phone, email, chat, etc.
• Must be able to clearly communicate instructions and current tasks.
• Must be able to describe technical items to non-technical users.
• Ability to help a team member or customer real-time while performing other tasks.
• Passionate about customer support.
• Attention to detail good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs, work nights or weekends, as needed, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Additional Skills and Other Requirements :

• 5+ years’ experience with Cisco IOS / Juniper IOS.
• Technology certificate CCNA or higher preferred.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s / 4 year Degree.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of Management experience.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience : Minimum 6+ years of experience

Relocation : This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel : No

Local Preferred : Yes

Note : Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
