JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities :
Setup and run development and validation tests (thermal vibrationhumidity corrosion electrical performance) on High Voltage PowerElectronic
Document test resultsand provide test reports.
Supporttechnical root cause and resolution of issues found duringtest
Select and installinstrumentation needed to collect response data from the test itemduring testing (accelerometers strain gauges pressure gaugesthermocouples voltage sense leadsetc.)
Utilize standard testequipment such as power supplies oscilloscopes multimeters andflowmeters with nodirection.
Fabricate special testequipment supporting development and validationtesting.
Support design andfabrication of simple mechanical fixtures jigs andharnesses.
Ability to use MS WordExcel PowerPoint andVisio.
Performs other duties asdirected.
Qualifications :
Technicaldegree in electronics or mechanicspreferred.
3 years of experiencewith environmental validationtesting
2 years of experiencefabricating special electronic test equipment and testharnesses.
Experience working withhigh voltage and an understanding of high voltage safetypractices.
Experience using commonmachine shop equipmentpreferred.
Soldering skillpreferred.
Understand how to readelectrical schematics and use manufacturers product datasheets.
High level ofinterpersonal and communicationskills.
Ability to work in afastpaced developmentenvironment.
Willing to workflexible hours and passionate about getting jobsdone.
Ability to support testingat outside testingfacilities.
Handson approach : Proactively identifies and fills in gaps whereneeded.
The MaterialArea Supervisor is responsible for leading hourly teams thatunload, store, and deliver material to support production in anautomotive manufacturing assembly plant.
Responsibilities includebut not limited to : Lead the safety, delivery, cost, quality, andmorale of hourly work teams. Develop team leaders to meet corporateguidelines and transform existing material delivery processes toincrease productivity and reduce manufacturing costs utilizing theWorld Class Manufacturing process.
Ensure inventory and recordintegrity and maintain a positive working relationship with bothmanagement and union represented employee.
Manage multiple workteams in a fast paced, high volume unionized manufacturingenvironment. Responsible for coordinating daily team activities toachieve business metrics and implementing World Class Manufacturing(WCM) tools and processes as it related to material flow.
Requiredto oversee and develop highly functioning work teams, comprised ofTeam Leaders and Team Members and practice LeadershipPrinciples.
