Draftsman - Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks

Tradeshow and / or Fabrication Experience a Plus

We are seeking a creative, full-time Draftsman skilled in Autodesk Inventor to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This role involves modeling and creating construction documents for various projects at CSG. A basic understanding of cabinetry, residential construction, electrical, and metal fabrication is required, with hands-on experience preferred.

As a member of our Engineering Department, you will collaborate directly with our shop to clarify construction details and provide value-added solutions during the construction phase.

Responsibilities include attending kick-off meetings to discuss projects, creating 3D models, sheet layouts, CNC programs, purchase requisitions, and reviewing construction sets with the fabrication team during the Shop Kick-Off Meeting.

This role offers the chance to collaborate with multiple departments at CSG. It requires strong organizational skills, effective verbal communication, and clear visual communication abilities.

Attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications :

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (SolidWorks knowledge may be transferable).
• Basic knowledge of cabinetry, residential construction, electrical, and metal fabrication.
• Ability to visualize construction details and effectively document them.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
