JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Supervises Parking Compliance team.
• Orients, trains, and provides on-going support and feedback to staff to ensure that program standards are maintained and that the workload is handled effectively.
• Maintains records and prepares reports of Parking Compliance Associates' daily activities to include citations issued.
• Reviews tickets issued and daily officer reports.
• Interprets and applies parking regulations and fire codes.
• Responds to calls and complaints involving parking violations; authorizes and requests towing service to remove vehicles parked illegally and / or causing hazardous conditions.
• Writes and issues parking citations.
• Directs the public in the proper use of parking facilities.
• Observes parking and traffic conditions, taking appropriate action to identify, report and eliminate hazardous conditions.
• Provides information to faculty, staff, guests, and patients / visitors on the university campus.
• Performs all duties associated with Parking Compliance Associate as necessary.
• Coordinates staff schedules and special events coverage.
• Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : A high school diploma or equivalent and four years of related experience which includes one year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.

May require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. Some positions in this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop and twist.

NOTE : Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
