This exciting opportunity is part of the Information Technology team , reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
The Manager will ensure programs and projects meet organizational goals and requirements, provide guidance on PMO processes and policies, oversee project management across corporate offices and business units, and collaborate with department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement. Responsibilities : Establishes and maintains project implementation framework, tools, processes, and key deliverables based on best practices, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet project quality objectives.
Serves as a subject matter expert in project and program management and provides mentoring and / or guidance to those working in an advisory capacity.
Manages the tollgate project management framework and updates based on new learnings. Advises business unit IT functional leads and project managers through the tollgate process.
Provides training and coaching to business units. Ensures completeness of requirements gathering along with use case scenarios for all business processes.
Ensures completeness of tollgate checkpoint deliverables. Identifies risk in overall project plan, requirements gathering, deliverables, resources and timelines.
Reviews and signs off on tollgate checkpoints. Conducts frequent project health checks and provides guidance on any corrective actions.
Monitors all project products for compliance with Crane Co IT Governance controls as well as other regulatory requirements.
Gathers and reports consolidated program, portfolio, and project status to leadership Qualifications & Competencies : Bachelor’s degree 8-10 years’ experience required : Min.
8 years successfully managing large ERP project implementations preferably in manufacturing industry. Familiarity with some of tier-1 and tier-2 ERP products such as Oracle, SAP, QAD etc.
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred. Agile Certifications preferred (e.g. PSM, CSM, etc.) or equivalent work experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in developing and overseeing project tollgate methodologies with special focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrades and implementations.
Demonstrates as a deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Project Management process and tools. Proven ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels, from team members to senior executives.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with software tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Smartsheet. Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple key business priorities.
Project budgeting / costing expertise. Strong understanding of a variety of technological solutions. Experienced creating and delivering excellent written content / presentations.
Articulate, positive and proactive in nature. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface with and influence team members across levels with different backgrounds and perspectives.
Up to 30% travel, including domestic and international locations. Preferred Qualifications and Skills : CPA, CMA and / or Financial Planning and Analysis Certificate (FPAC) Master’s in computer science or Business Administration is a plus.
Experience with data mining tools, MS-Power BI, Qlik sense and dashboard creation. HFM and FDMEE certifications or administration training from Oracle or partner.
Experience with SQL, ERP systems, Oracle, Azure-cloud, SAP ERP systems and other systems / solutions / tools. Advanced MS Excel abilities, Visual Basic and / or VB.
