- Active Medical Licensure required in the region assigned.
- Demonstrates progressive leadership experience in a health care delivery system and / or large Multi-Specialty Medical Group.
- Holds active privileges or is qualified to be credentialed at an Intermountain Hospital and SelectHealth.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills and the ability to work effectively and collegially with clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Exceptional character and integrity and commitment to mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Healthcare.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Desired traits include : peer respect engendering trust among others, proficient at building teams and forging partnerships, willingness and ability to resolve conflict and enhance effectiveness of others, ability to effectively communicate vision and enroll others, zeal for change and bias to action, and ability to delegate responsibility and empower others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health or other business-related field.
- A national reputation and network that will facilitate partnership identification.

- Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.
- Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
