The James A Haley Veterans Hospital located in Tampa, Florida is accepting applications for three of their Outpatient Clinics.
Each position requires a full-time board eligible or board certified Psychiatrist who will be part of a team delivering quality care in the Mental Health Service at James A Haley VAMC.
The Psychiatrist provides the full spectrum of services (see below for responsibilities of each location ). Candidates will have the opportunity for an Academic appointment available through the University of South Florida Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences.
Preferred Experience :
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Training and experience in substance abuse treatment is preferred but not required
Lakeland Outpatient Psychiatrist : Primary responsibilities will include consultation, assessment, and medication management.
This is a generalist position which requires a breadth of experience assessing and treating the full gamut of mental health disorders.
Training and experience in substance abuse treatment is preferred but not required . Applicant much be Board Certified / Board Eligible.
Caseload will include a significant percentage of veterans with PTSD.
Tampa VAMC : Inpatient pain program
Work Hours : 8am-4 : 30pm Monday-Friday
Salary Range : $252,000+
Relocation / Recruitment incentive may be authorized for this position.
Student loan repayment may be available through the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Participation is based on funds availability.
