Hawk Ridge Systems is continuing to expand our marketing efforts throughout North America by adding a remote Website Manager to our talented team who will be responsible for the oversight of the operations and performance of our company website as well as brand support for our preferred partner brand websites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of website systems, e-commerce functionality, analytics, and content management.

They will be responsible for ensuring the website runs smoothly, is optimized for conversions, and provides a seamless user interface and experience.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS REMOTE WEBSITE MANAGER ROLE?

  • Website Systems Management
  • Manage and maintain all website systems, including WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, Analytics, and WP Engine hosting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Work tightly with Marketo admins to ensure proper system performance from web to Marketo
  • HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript management on the site.
  • Website Performance :
  • Monitor website speed, uptime, and overall performance.
  • Implement optimizations to improve page load times and user experience.
  • Ensure the website is accessible and responsive across all devices.
  • Provide best practice recommendations for website enhancements with data inspired research from a variety of sources
  • Content Implementation :
  • Implement new content on the website, including, but not limited to blog posts, product pages, category pages, lead magnets, and landing pages.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content is aligned with overall strategy and is in alignment with briefs
  • Work closely with Website Marketing Manager to ensure metadata, SEO and other web strategies are implemented correctly
  • Conversion Tracking & Analytics :
  • Maintain and update conversion tracking on the website using Google Tag Manager.
  • Generate and maintain website analytic reports to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the marketing team based on data analysis.
  • E-commerce Optimization :
  • Maintain and optimize e-commerce functionality via WooCommerce.
  • Ensure a smooth checkout process and seamless user experience.
  • Manage product inventory and pricing.
  • Work closely with Information Systems team to ensure complete follow through of orders to Salesforce

WHAT WILL YOU NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS REMOTE WEBSITE MANAGER ROLE?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Business, or a related field. (Preferred, will consider equivalent combination of education / experience.)
  • 3-5 years of experience in website management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Elementor, and WordPress plugins.
  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hawk Ridge Systems has determined that the new hire salary range for this role is between $61,200 - $76,500 . Your pay will be based on a number of factors, including knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Since we appreciate transparency, we are sharing that we expect to hire for this position up to mid-range (dependent on experience / location), which will allow you the opportunity to progress as you grow in your career.
