Product Manager - Web

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our web-based applications for the airline industry.

You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our clients while optimizing operational efficiency and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap : Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our web-based applications, aligning with overall business objectives and client needs.
  • User Research & Requirements : Conduct user research, gather feedback from airline personnel and passengers, and translate their needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Feature Prioritization & Development : Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with the product roadmap.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure seamless implementation, ensuring a robust and scalable platform.

  • Product Launch & Iteration : Define release plans, manage product launches, and continuously iterate on the product based on user feedback, performance data, and industry best practices.
  • Metrics & Analysis : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user engagement, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive product growth.

  • Stakeholder Management : Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders (engineering, design, operations, and external partners (airlines, travel agencies, to ensure alignment and smooth product development.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve : Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies related to web application development, the airline industry, and customer experience best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Manager for web applications, specifically with experience in the airline or travel industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading the development and launch of web-based products in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the user experience (UX) design principles and best practices for web applications, with a focus on usability and accessibility.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and data visualization for operational insights and customer behavior analysis.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, booking processes, and passenger needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to contribute to a seamless travel experience.

Bonus Points :

  • Direct experience working with airline systems or platforms.
  • Experience with API integration and data synchronization.
  • Familiarity with travel industry regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
