Accounting Clerk

Job description This position will report to the Accountant Manager and will help maintain accurate and timely payroll for employees.

General accounts receivable functions Prepare and submit invoices and receipt payments Prepare and coordinate deposit activities Perform all necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations Monitor clients' accounts for non-payment and delayed payment General accounts payable functions Check, verify, and process invoices Prepare payments for signature Sort, code and enter accounts payable data Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices Maintain vendor files General payroll functions Collect, confirm and process time sheets Verify taxes and other deductions Prepare and distribute payroll checks Track employee vacation and sick time General support functions Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records Assist in month-end reporting procedures Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies Track and audit petty cash Assist with employee expense reports Perform filing and general administrative tasks Liaise with other departments / customers / vendors Experience : Background in Construction (Preferred) QuickBooks required Excel Spreadsheets Analyzing Information Data Entry Skills Job Type : Full-time Accounts payable : 3 years (Required) Accounting : 3 years (Required) Quickbooks : 2 years (Required) Payroll : 3 years (Required) Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm Must Drive and have at least a Bachelor's Degree Benefit Conditions : Only full-time employees eligible COVID-19 Precaution(s) : Plastic shield at work stations Temperature screenings Social distancing guidelines in place Virtual meetings Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Work Remotely No This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is : Dependable more reliable than spontaneous Adaptable / flexible enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Achievement-oriented enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail Autonomous / Independent enjoys working with little direction Innovative prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity High stress tolerance thrives in a high-pressure environment Job Type : Full-time Pay : $40,000.
