Job Description
Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security for Correction Institute in Taylorsville, NC.
Starting Base Pay :
Supervisor $28 / Hour
Guard $21 / Hour
Must be able to meet all hiring requirements noted below for consideration

Minimum Requirements :
- Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Must be able to obtain a NC Armed Private Protective Services security registration
- Must be licensed to possess and carry a pistol of 9mm or higher, while performing duties
- Must successfully complete a physical agility test including :
- Run 1-1 / 2 mile run (within 17 minutes 30 seconds)
- Pushups within designated timeframe
- Possess a valid driver's license in good standing for last 3 years
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
