WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :
- Deliver product to installation crews.
- Load and unload product from delivery trucks and trailers, regularly lifting more than 50 pounds.
- Perform efficient installation of office furniture including furniture systems, case goods, electrical components, seating, tables, and panel detailing.
- Responsible for timely completion of installation with a high level of workmanship.
- Interpret installation drawings and instruction sheets.
- Complete service orders, change orders, delivery tickets and return authorizations.
- Execute site cleanup by removing all cartons and packaging.
- Prepare and clean vehicles, tools, and equipment for the next day’s use.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure the needs of our clients are met in a timely and professional fashion.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative can do attitude, especially during problem resolution and difficult situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE :
- Ability to work early morning or irregular hours and extended shifts, including any out-of-town assignments.
- Physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment, often more than 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. Will follow DOT rules and regulations.
- Capable of driving a 24’ straight or cube truck safely.
- Reliable transportation to and from Intereum HQ and job sites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Interpersonal skills and professional demeanor to interact effectively with a wide range of clients, occasionally under trying circumstances.
- Skills to safely operate a forklift, electric pallet jack, or other material handling equipment.
- Ability to work on a team and on your own to execute tasks.
- Strong work ethic, punctual and self-motivated mindset.
- Mechanically adept and knows how to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability follow direction and learn basic installation processes : unloading, loading, staging, disassembling cartons, panel assembly, component assembly, cleanup and detailing, lock installations, etc.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction to both internal and external customers.
