HVAC PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description

About the Role : We are on the hunt for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead a variety of projects, including commercial and industrial ventures.

With a mix of exciting projects on the horizon, this role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of HVAC project management experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and lead HVAC projects from initiation through to successful completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Expertly handle HVAC design, estimating, blueprints, and takeoffs.
• Experience with automation and controls is a plus.

Project Portfolio :

Manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, local aquatic centers, Honda Jet, schools, churches, electric battery facilities, ballparks, science centers.

What We're Looking For :

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC Project Management experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
• Superior interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven expertise in project budgeting and financial management.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC design, estimating, blueprints, and takeoffs.
• Familiarity with automation and controls is advantageous.
• A results-driven leader who excels in meeting and exceeding deadlines.

Compensation :

• Competitive salary : $100,000 - $125,000 (based on experience).
• Additional compensation : Full benefits and 401k after 30 days, performance incentive programs, relocation assistance.

Minimum Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in HVAC.
• 10-15 years of experience in HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, humidity control, steam, chilled water, gas piping, and compressors.
• Proficiency in design-build HVAC projects in commercial and industrial settings.
• Experience with projects in manufacturing, distribution centers, local aquatic centers, and other related industries.
• Willingness to travel within the service area : Greensboro, NC; Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham.
