Facilities Information Analyst
Position Summary
Position salary range $66,852.58 to $76,402.95 - annually depending on experience. MSU Benefits - Free comprehensive health care for you and your family as well as a 10% contribution toward your retirement;
Generous sick, vacation, personal and holiday time; This position is eligible to work a partial remote schedule after completion of employee's probation or trial period.
Regular attendance is required to meet business and customer needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge normally acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in an appropriate field of geography, planning, architecture, environmental sciences, computer science, engineering, or computer aided drafting and design;
- three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in analyzing, developing, integrating, and managing a variety of large-scale data sets to aid in space planning and management decisions;
- experience with accurately interpreting maps, plats, and construction plans, as well as knowledge of AutoCAD, Building Information Modeling tools, CAD & GIS standards and principles;
- computer experience relating to the specific department, experience in identifying the following building systems : electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, steam and gas;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of a valid vehicle operator's license.
Desired Qualifications
Expert knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, FMGPlus and spatial data collection methods and technologies. Experience with Integrated Work Order Management System (Planon), Electronic Document Management (Meridian) and Project Management (Unifier, PlanGrid and Autodesk Construction Cloud (Build)) solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 365 and use of presentation and database software. Experience with Team Work task management system.
Experience with data collection hardware and software, Laser ranger finder Tape measure, and 360 camera and software. Knowledge of ArcGIS and Munsys software.
- Knowledge of construction related documents and terminology, how to read multi discipline prints. Knowledge of Facilities Management operations and University policies and procedures;
- Strong communication skills (oral and written); established problem solving skills; good customer relations / service skills;
- ability to work as an effective member of a team is essential; ability to multitask yet give attention to detail; ability to handle confidential material with complete discretion;
selfstarter who possesses good decision making skills and demonstrate the ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.
