Our client who is a fast growing, well-established, Biotech Research company based in San Francisco.
They’re looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer (LLM) to join an existing and fast growing Engineering Team!
The role is Full-Time (Remote) preferred candidates to be PST time-zone.
They’re looking for someone very experienced with LLMs & Python.
Requirements :
- Strong experience with python and extensive experience in leveraging LLM's.
- Some background in training methods and managing large-scale training jobs on GPU clusters.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills : Be familiar working and collaborating with other teams such as Software, Product, Data etc.
Key Responsibilities :
- Make evaluations of LLMs, assessing effectiveness, efficiency, and business alignment.
- Data and Model Parallel Training : Utilize data and model parallel training techniques for efficient handling of large-scale models.
- Implement and fine-tune state-of-the-art Large Language Models for various applications, focusing on accuracy & performance
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), function calling, and code interpreter technologies to enhance the capabilities of Large Language Models.
- Manage GPU clusters, ensuring optimal resource utilization for complex tasks.
