Required / Minimum Qualifications :
- 6+ years of technical experience in network design, development, and automation
- OR bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
- OR master’s degree in electrical engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
- 2+ years of experience in two or more of the following :
- C#, Golang, C++, Python, and Linux / Unix / Windows systems programming.
- RESTful Services
- Networking.
Responsibilities
When issues arise, you troubleshoot live site issues to discover and drive solutions with minimal or no disruption to customers.
You also perform testing and validation of network devices and demonstrate some knowledge of data. You know what data is needed and how to find new or missing data.
You provide instructions to the data center on how to repair and maintain physical network hardware and take notes during incidents.
In addition, you will participate in postmortem and root-cause analysis processes to continuously improve network reliability.
You support innovation and cost management by developing new ideas for systems and tools that meet customer and / or business needs.
You proactively share information across disciplines within your feature team promptly with an appropriate level of detail that is tailored to your audience.
You provide feedback and some mentorship to other engineers, while also proactively seeking mentorship and feedback from others.
