Job description Position
Overview : Regional Sales Manager is responsible to achieve annual sales goals through efficient management and satisfaction of customer and account needs within assigned territory.
Territory : Texas,USA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
1) Provide quality service and support to Launch Tech USA diagnostic customers (distributors & end-users) in all assigned tasks.
2) Increase Launch Tech USA's diagnostic footprint through training and providing product awareness.
3) Efficient management of distributor and end-user relationships.
4) Responsible for sales and promotion of Launch Tech USA diagnostic products within customer segments in the assigned territory :
- Develop and maintain territory coverage plan with a designated territory
- Routine coverage of key assigned accounts
- Proper presentation of Launch Tech USA diagnostics lines as directed
- Communicate regularly with management
- Efficient use of and knowledge of Launch Tech USA product technology.
5) Responsible for market development activities :
- Focus on the development and maintenance of key accounts (distributors and end-users)
- Perform product in-service training to ensure customer satisfaction, as needed
- Frequent market feedback on products, competition, and market conditions to your manager
- Develop and maintain territory-specific information relative to competitors and distributors in the market mix
- Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate information on lost business
- Develop a relationship with new customers and bring new customer accounts in assigned territory.
6) Actively probe for potential customers and communicate the result to the sales management.
7) With the manager’s support and approval develop and implement the business plan in the assigned region.
Education and Experience :
- 3+ years of sales experience. (Automotive is a plus)
- Diagnostics sales experience is a plus
- Snap-On, MATCO, Mac, Cornwell, independent experience is a plus Qualifications :
- Strong sales closing skills. Prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus.
- Organizational skills- with emphasis on time management and proper territory planning / management.
- Working knowledge of automotive products and distributors in the assigned area
- Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales positions.
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.
- Computer literate with knowledge of word processing applications, Outlook, and Excel spreadsheets.
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to travel at least 35% of the time as required by the role.
Compensation :
- The position has a base salary plus commission making OTE around $110K.
- Territories have been developed and have customers purchasing regularly and have positive sales history year over year.
- Ramp Up allowance to be provided for the first 3 month
