Revit Designer – Water / Wastewater
Type : Hybrid
Locations : Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Asheville NC
Candidates must currently reside in the greater Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington or Asheville NC area and be able to work a hybrid work schedule.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 2-7 years of experience in Revit + other relevant BIM software
- Experience with civil / mechanical / structural design for water & wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and associated facilities using REVIT.
- Good technical skills required.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Methodical, precise and consistent but enjoys some variety in work schedule and can tolerate change.
- Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team.
- Must be experienced in computer-aided drafting in REVIT
- Structural designer background with experience designing Water Towers, Plants, Treatment Facilities, Storage etc. would be beneficial
- Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.
- Vocational certificate or two year degree in civil technology is preferred Responsibilities :
- Provides technical and design services in support of water / wastewater design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce design / construction drawings.
- Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
- Communicates with Project Managers, Sr. Engineers and design team to complete work efficiently.
- This position is responsible for the design and layout of engineering drawings.
- Produce drawings or sketches as required.
