License : Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required Certifications : ARRT registered; Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI preferred.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an equivalent required within three months of hire.
Must-Have : Post high school education; Completion of a minimum 2-year, approved program in Radiologic Technology. Job Description : - Assist physicians with performance of interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and / or therapeutic interventions.
- Responsible for preparation and documentation of inventory of materials, supplies, and coding used for interventional radiology services.
- Experience in vascular IR (TIPS, arterial vascular intervention, vein ablation and sclerotherapy, TVLB), hybrid OR (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR).
- Oncology interventions including TheraSphere, SirSphere, TACE, cryoablation, and microwave ablation.- Musculoskeletal interventions like vertebroplasty, RF ablation, percutaneous bone screw placement.
- Non-vascular interventions including PTC / PBD, nephrostomy placements, ureteral stenting, G tube placement, chest tube, and Pleurex.
- Preference for candidates certified in Vascular Interventional Radiology through ARRT.- Siemens and Philips imaging system experience preferred.
- EPIC / PACS experience required.- Strong coding and billing knowledge in Interventional Radiology.- Additional technical courses and experience with progressive responsibility in IR / NIR and / or Cath Lab are required.
- In-depth knowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment / supplies.
