Team Members : Paint Cleaning

Job Summary :

• Applicant will be responsible for proper lockout / tagout; cleaning paint booth walls and windows; mopping; cutting and replacing plastic covering;
• replacing robot covers; cleaning sludge from flood sheets and under booths; cleaning purge pots; scraping and cleaning conveyors, rollers and rails;

replacing filters; cleaning ovens; replacing foil; cleaning air showers; cleaning tanks; etc.

Shift : Day and Night Shifts. Must be willing to work up to 12 hours if needed.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Applicant must be able to safely work in a high paced industrial environment; have a general understanding of industrial safety practices;

and be able to use a variety of hand tools and electrical equipment. Previous industrial experience is preferred.

Required PPE : Must wear head protection, safety toed shoes, safety glasses, lint-free suit, chemical and / or cut resistant gloves, face shield, etc.

If prescription glasses are worn, either prescription safety glasses (meeting ANSI Z87.1 standard) or overviews are required.

Physical Environment : Hot and cold (i.e. not air conditioned), noisy, dirty, dusty, etc.

Reasoning and Adaptability :

To perform this job successfully, applicant must have the ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.

Must be able to work well with others in a team environment. TM must be able to make sound decisions when confronted with safety or production issues that require immediate action.

Discipline and Diligence :

TM (Team Member) must be able to work with little or no supervision and still complete assigned tasks according to defined work schedules.

TM must also wear all personal protection equipment (PPE) as required for the work area and / or specific task.
