This individual will have 3+yrs of Same Day Surgery, PACU or Emergency Room experience, will have flexibility Monday - Friday, and able to commit 1-2 days per week.

• Routinely uses acquired knowledge, theory, research, and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations.* Under general supervision, demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways / care maps, team dynamics, and hospital systems.
• Incorporates AACN Synergy Model into clinical practice.* Delegates appropriately utilizing the Synergy model of care and recognizes the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patient and family care partners utilizing them appropriately as resources in planning patient care.
• Functions in a developing leadership role, Charge Nurse when assigned.* Orients staff or students as assigned in absence of designated preceptor.
• Anticipates potential patient crises through continual evaluation of patient outcomes.* Identifies and implements a course of action in non-routine situations, seeking assistance to resolve complex issues.
• Coordinates diagnostic proceduresMinimum Qualifications : * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 24 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
• Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.* BLS certification (AHA) required and ACLS may be required in designated departmentsJoin our team today and become a part of our world-class academic hospital!
