This position you will be watching the group of dogs sleeping or that may get up and move around this shift will be a set Saturday Morning and Sunday Morning shift Saturday will be from 3 : 00am to 8 : 00am and Sunday morning the hours will be 3 : 00am to 10 : 00am.
We also need someone to be flexible with our weeknight overnight shifts, Sunday-Thursday 9pm-6am, only if needed!!
This person must be reliable and know dog behavior. Have no fear around groups of dogs we are a cage- free facility so this is all the dogs spending the night that are laying around on dog beds.
This shift is taking over for another shift so this is the time the dogs wake up as the lead attendant will be getting ready to start breakfasts.
This means all the dogs that were sleeping will wake up and go into the yard (inside) to relieve themselves which means depending on the number of dogs will determine the amount of clean up.
You are to always keep your eyes on the dogs at all times with minimal cleaning while they are sleeping as long as it is done in the same yard as the dogs.
You will be trained on this as a lead person will be there all night long and can advise you on anything you may have questions about.
This are guaranteed shifts as we are always busy on Friday and Saturday nights. We will go over more of the job in detail at the interview and then if all goes well we will schedule a working interview that you are paid for.
