Description
Position at Catapult Learning Overview Performs routine and preventative, day-to-day maintenance & repair procedures on Catapult program materials and property such as furniture, bulletin boards, white boards and other classroom materials and supplies.
The delivery / moving of furniture and materials to / from schools which includes student desks, filing cabinets, boxes of testing materials etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures on structures and equipment on a scheduled basis.
- End of year classroom close-outs - Moving and storing all furniture and program owned materials.
- Beginning of year classroom start-up -Re-assembling the Catapult classrooms so that they are ready to begin servicing students.
- Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on equipment and technology.
- Tracking Inventory at Catapults off site Storage Units
- May install computer cables, repair electrical equipment and request new parts as necessary. Responds to minimal IT requests at various school locations, such as but not limited to, paper jams, Wi-Fi Connection issues, computer updates, connecting printers to desktops / laptops etc.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required through supervisor.
- Performs outdoor custodial duties as required.
- Delivers operational supplies when appropriate.
- Performs repairs of all trailers, decks, classroom spaces and equipment operated by Catapult Learning. For example, repairs doors, door locks and closets, desks, bookshelves, furniture etc.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of experience in equipment maintenance and repair; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must agree to a background check. Clean Driving record. Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools to assemble furniture and perform small repairs.
Must have basic technology troubleshooting skills.
