HOJ Forklift is a leader in the material handling industry and is currently seeking outstanding candidates for a Parts Associate to join our team.
The Parts Associate will assist in the daily operations of receiving and distributing forklift parts and supplies to our customers and in-house service technicians.
The Parts Associate is responsible for counter sales, sourcing parts for sales job, pulling parts and shipping part to customers.
They will also help the parts department maintain an accurate inventory in a clean and safe warehouse. The ideal candidate has experience working in parts inventory management and the ability to create great relationships with customers and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries from customers
- Research replacement parts using parts manual, catalogs, or computer listings
- Support the operations of our forklift service department to make sure that the parts arrive in a timely fashion according to urgency and timing of job completion
- Responsible for quoting, accurate pricing and ordering of parts
- Check, package, and prepare merchandise for shipment
- Stock, maintain, locate parts in proper bins and mark products
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including the use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (dependent on certifications & experience)
- Receive incoming merchandise from suppliers
- Input information into the computer and files as required
- Assist with weekly cycle counts
- Stay current on company product line
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Product knowledge and familiarity with forklift or automotive parts, diesel / gas engines, electric forklifts and / or other material handling products strongly desired
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Pallet jack or hand truck experience (preferred)
- Previous experience in warehouse or material handling industry (or similar field) is a plus
Qualifications :
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and internet functions
- Ability to learn industry specific software systems
- Proficiently use a computer to research parts, enter parts on service jobs, retrieve customer information, and to make changes to customer orders
- Positive attitude and ability to comply with company policies and procedures
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by acting professionally and as a representation of the Hoj values
- Must be able to operate lift trucks and equipment as required
- Comply with all safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Must be able to pass background checks and random drug screenings
- This Position requires stooping, bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching, grasping and the capability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance and to lift 40 pounds unassisted.

Salary : Depends on Experience
Starting Pay : $20.00 - $26.00 / hr., D.O.E.
