Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent training. One-year progressive and relevant hospital / clinic experience. Registry eligible.
Environmental / Working Conditions
This position is subject to inside environmental conditions. Occupational risk to blood borne pathogens is minimal.

Job Description
Performs diagnostic sonography procedures. Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement.
May be assigned non-technical tasks and / or transferred to other areas as needed. Is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment and for performing and communicating the results of diagnostic examinations using sonography.
Required Licensures / Certifications / Registrations
CPR certified
Physical Capabilities
Must be emotionally and physically fit. Work requires frequent standing, walking and lifting of patients and equipment. The work is at times stressful with many emotional demands.
Must possess near visual acuity.
Good wrist strength and control is a must. Must be able to lift 50lb.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of GE equipment. Able to work without supervision.
