We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels and supporting the overall solar energy system setup.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures according to project specifications.
- Assist in assembling racking systems and mounting solar panels.
- Connect panels to inverters and electrical systems.
- Test and commission solar energy systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Work with / manage a small team for installs.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections for our customers.
Requirements
- Experience with power tools.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and understand construction site layouts.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage, and fixture installation.
- Previous experience as a commercial electrician is a plus.
- Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading for solar panel installations.
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours : 40 per week
