We seek dedicated, service-oriented Nurse Clinicians to join our team of health care professionals providing services to Wisconsin Veterans who call our facilities at King and Union Grove home.
Duties Provide direct and indirect nursing care on a unit and shift for geriatric and / or disabled members. Direct, coordinate, and monitor the care given by other health care team members.
Participate in activities which facilitate the development and achievement of unit, building, bureau and facility goals and objectives.
Required Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of general nursing theory, principles, standards, practices, and treatment modalities
- Physical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of general principles of anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge of pharmacology
- Knowledge of safety and infection control
- Knowledge of nutrition principles and practices
- Knowledge of State Nurse Practice Act
- Oral, written and therapeutic communication skills
- Effective interpersonal relationship skills
Special Requirements Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
