Job Title : IT Security Manager

Location : San Antonio, TX (Fully Onsite)

Salary : $100,000-150,000 per year

Job Description : We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Security Manager to oversee and manage our entire network infrastructure while collaborating closely with our outsourced security firm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, device management, and compliance, particularly with CMMC standards.

This role is essential for maintaining the security and efficiency of our operations, ensuring that all systems are fully compliant and effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Network Administration : Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure. Ensure all systems are secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance.
  • Security Management : Act as the primary liaison with our outsourced security firm, ensuring alignment with internal policies and security protocols.
  • Compliance : Manage and enforce compliance with CMMC standards and other relevant regulations. Maintain documentation and prepare for audits as needed.
  • Onboarding & Device Management : Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring that all devices are properly configured, secured, and integrated into the network.
  • Vendor Coordination : Work closely with external vendors to manage security tools and services, ensuring they meet the company’s requirements and standards.
  • Incident Response : Lead the response to any security incidents, coordinating with the outsourced security firm to mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of all security policies, procedures, and incidents. Provide regular reports to senior management.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years in IT security or network administration, with a strong focus on compliance and device management.
  • Certifications : Network+ and CISSP certifications are preferred.
  • Compliance Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of CMMC standards and experience with government contract compliance is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in managing and securing complex network environments. Experience with device management tools and security protocols.
  • Industry Experience : Prior experience in the government contracting space or banking (e.g., USAA) is a bonus.
  • Clearance : Previous security clearance is a plus, but not required.
  • Citizenship : Must be a U.S. citizen.
