Job Title : Quality Manager
We have a full time opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager for a precision machine shop in the Fremont, CA area. We are an ISO 13485 and 9001 Certified manufacturer.
Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee the Mechanical Inspectors and the CMM Programmers in a mechanical inspection lab
- Oversee all quality procedures and documentation
- Train colleagues on quality procedures and document systems
- Monitor operations and ensure adherence to quality procedures
- Identify and resolve quality issues and areas for improvement
- Continuously enhance quality systems through reviews and corrective actions
Skills Required :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with quality assurance or quality control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficiency with computerized quality management systems, CMM's and mechanical inspection tools
- Knowledge of quality principles and ability to use tools like digital calipers, mics, depth guages and other standard inspection tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
