Job Summary : Operates blender.

Operates blender.

Essential Functions :

• Operate and maintain either blender and all equipment associated with the blender
• Read and understand formula sheets
• Be familiar with all raw materials
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with production forklift operator and with bagger operators.
• Be able to operate forklift if required to do so
• Accurately and neatly complete all production related paperwork and submit that paperwork to the direct supervisor at the end of the shift
• Notify supervisor of any equipment issues observed, whether it is an equipment failure or anything that might suggest that a piece of equipment is not operating properly or appears to be in danger of breaking down.
• Assisting in housekeeping and other functions as needed.
• Filling in for other operators or assisting other operators on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications :

• Read and write in English.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Complete a profile questionnaire
• Operate a forklift and pass a proficiency test after being trained

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50# bags repeatedly.
• Lift 100# bags occasionally.

Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, with moderate noise levels.
